Membership credential rationale/會員資格原則
In order for the general public in Hong Kong to identify qualified music therapy service providers. We accept members who have a valid registration only.
為了讓社會大眾能找到合資格的音樂治療服務提供者，我們只接受持有有效註冊的會員。
Valid registration means that our professional members should be currently holding a registration with a professional body whose registration allows the member to practice music therapy lawfully in the country to which the body belongs. It is required that the professional music therapy body should be well-established and have a good standing in regulating the practice of fellow members. Besides, the registration with the professional body shall be endorsed by the government concerned.
有效註冊就是該會員正持有某國家的專業音樂治療團體的註冊，而該註冊可以讓該名人士合法地在該國家境內執業。我們亦要求該專業團體為以已確立了專業地位的團體，並且得到有關國家認可由該專業團體所發出的資格。
We welcome those who is holding a valid professional registration in the following countries as our professional member:
歡迎任何已於下列國家註冊成為其專業會員的人士成為本會專業會員：
A. The United States of America (USA)
Professional Body: a. The National Music Therapy Registry
Professional Title: Registered Music Therapist (RMT) / Certified Music Therapist (CMT) / Advanced Certified Music Therapist (ACMT)
Professional Body: b. The Certification Board for Music Therapists
Professional Title: Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)
B. The United Kingdom (UK)
Professional Body: The Health Profession Council
Professional Title: Registered Music Therapist (RMT)
C. Australia
Professional Body: The Australian Music Therapy Association
Professional Title: Registered Music Therapist (RMT)
For those people who have registered with music therapy professional bodies other than the listed above, the HKMTA would approve application on an individual basis according to the membership credential rationale. Please contact our chairperson Ms. Yasmin Li for detail.
如任何人士其註冊音樂治療專業團體並不在上列名單之內，本會將按會員資格原則考慮是否接納其會員申請，有關詳情請聯絡主席李英姿小姐。。
Professional Member
The annual membership fee for professional members is HK$200-(Total fee waived in 2009). The amount covers the membership period from the 1st day to the last day of the same year. You can contact our chairperson Ms. Yasmin Li for payment and detail.
專業會員的會員年費是港幣$200-（2009年會費全數豁免），會員年度由每年的1月1日起至同年12月31日止。有關繳付會費事宜請聯絡主席李英姿小姐。
